Materials play for a natural look

How can you cleverly distinguish two adjacent real estate projects while applying the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)? This was the challenge Celize tackled with a decorative hoarding that blends different materials.

A responsible developer

Icade, a real estate investment company and developer for office, residential, and public infrastructure projects, aims to create places where people enjoy living, residing, and working. A key strategic priority is minimizing the carbon footprint of their projects.

An example of this approach can be seen in Lyon’s 7th arrondissement, where two real estate programs prioritize greenery and meet high bioclimatic and environmental standards. Recognizing the importance of reflecting this commitment, the Celize team worked to provide a “natural” separation, enhancing the appeal of both developments for commercialization.

Wood and greenery: sources of well-being

Installing a hoarding is a good start, but installing a custom hoarding that aligns with a company’s values is even better. Spanning 95 meters in length and 2 meters in height, this creative design alternates wood and synthetic greenery in a checkerboard pattern, bringing a touch of nature into the urban environment and creating a calming effect.

This construction site communication approach softens the impact of the work and aligns with sustainable development principles. The greenery draws attention and enhances the effectiveness of the outdoor signage.

Customized solutions for every project

Celize’s strength lies in its ability to understand client needs and adapt to each situation. We are constantly exploring new materials and combinations, such as various types of wood, synthetic or natural greenery, mirrors, and printed panels. For this hoarding, our team, overseeing both artistic direction and manufacturing, recommended Class 4 wood that is moisture-resistant and rot-proof.

Graphic projections allowed the developer to visualize potential assemblies, including possible arrangements (vertical or diagonal) of slats and selecting boxwood as the type of foliage. For optimal safety and stability, the support frame is based on low-carbon concrete blocks.

With Celize, you benefit from a personalized study and a turnkey service, from conception to completion. The promise of a project carried out with complete peace of mind!
