Large-scale exhibition “The curiosities of Anjou” – Parc de la Villette

How can you encourage your fellow countrymen to visit your region? This territorial communication challenge inspired the original photo exhibition commissioned by Anjou Tourisme from Celize.

The invitation to travel

From June 3 to 13, 2021, “The Curiosities of Anjou” were showcased at Parc de la Villette in Paris, offering a visual treat to passersby who frequent the canal de l’Ourcq, especially on weekends. This location, highly appreciated by city dwellers seeking tranquility, was ideal for hosting an exhibition that promotes escape. The Anjou Tourisme agency, the Anjou Saumur Wine Federation, and the Maine-et-Loire Department collaborated to create this communication campaign. Six themes were highlighted to reveal the hidden treasures of this beautiful corner of France: Loire & Rivers, Wine & Gastronomy, Micro-exploration, Nature, Heritage, and Troglodytes. Enough to stir a longing for elsewhere!.

Image at the heart of the approach

To meet the attractiveness challenge desired by Anjou Tourisme and its partners and to adapt to the installation site, Celize used Mobilize, a self-supporting hoarding solution it has patented. Its square arrangement provides a large-format exhibition support with 4 faces of 2 meters by 2 meters, allowing the photographs to fully captivate. The quality of the visuals and subjects is enhanced by the absence of framing. No visible structure distorts the message. Specifically designed for outdoor use, the cubes are placed without ground fixation, giving the impression of an open book depending on the viewing angle.

Precision work for optimal territorial communication

To achieve this aesthetic result, Celize maintains a high level of demand: from the production of the panels to their installation. Every step reflects its expertise. Installing such an outdoor exhibition support requires prior preparation to ensure nothing disrupts the display. Every detail matters. Consequently, a precise installation plan is developed, considering all potential site constraints. The best location is analyzed. The spacing between display panels is carefully planned. Finally, the installation requires meticulous care to ensure both the final effect and the reliability and safety of the communication support.
