A large-scale decorative cover dresses the Van Cleef & Arpels construction site
Van Cleef & Arpels, a French luxury jewelry company, will undertake renovation work at its Maison located on the prestigious Place Vendôme in Paris. To enhance its historic boutique and showcase its universe, Celize is assisting Van Cleef & Arpels with the installation of a decorative hoarding inspired by the Maison.
Place Vendôme, the cradle of high jewelry
Van Cleef & Arpels is a French luxury jewelry, watchmaking, and perfume company. In 1906, Van Cleef & Arpels was one of the first jewelers to settle on Place Vendôme. Today, the Maison has its historic boutique on Place Vendôme, the cradle of Parisian High Jewelry.
As part of the renovation work, Celize is designing a large-format hoarding covered with a decorative printed banner. The boutique is temporarily relocating to 1 Rue de la Paix, just steps away from its historic home.
Celize handled the hoarding, from design to installation, with a high level of precision. This exceptional cover, 6 meters high, allows the Maison to shine on Place Vendôme.
A decor to discover through the seasons
The décor will change with the seasons. In total, four seasons will be revealed throughout the 2019-2020 year.
The first décor is in a spring floral style, featuring fluttering butterflies near dahlias. The floral universe is prominently present in the Maison’s various collections. These butterflies represent both the nature the Maison is dedicated to portraying, freedom, and movement.
