As part of the construction project in the Atlantis district, Paris Sud Aménagement, a public local development and construction company, reached out to Celize for the design of a wooden construction site hoarding. Located along the sidewalk of a kindergarten, the hoarding aims to protect children from the flow of construction trucks.
The glass-walled wooden hoarding
To ensure that passersby don’t feel cramped, the upper part of the hoarding features a glass section made of plexiglass to allow light through and expand the view.
The hoarding as a medium for expression
The project includes the involvement of kindergarten children to decorate the construction hoarding during a painting workshop. The wood was selected and worked to be free of any roughness.
