La Garenne-Colombes communicates on an eco-responsible wooden construction hoarding

The city of La Garenne-Colombes is undertaking a major project to redevelop its main square and construct an underground parking lot. To communicate about this significant project, the city entrusted Celize with creating a communicative wooden hoarding around the construction site.

Choice of construction site communication medium

The square is an important living area in La Garenne-Colombes, where the church is located, and across from it, the market takes place. Therefore, it is crucial for the city to maintain a pleasant living environment during this construction phase.

As an expert in urban dressing, Celize directed the site’s hoarding towards a warm and natural material: wood. All the wooden panels dressing the hoarding are treated with an ecological oil to preserve the wood.

An eco-friendly and communicative hoarding is a first in the Hauts-de-Seine region.

Design of freestanding totem displays

The hoarding’s design incorporates the project’s key messages and simulations of the future new appearance of Place de la Liberté. The messages printed in green emphasize the presence of vegetation within the future square.

Celize created a unique cut for the wooden panels to create dynamism and attract passersby’s attention to the visuals of the new square.

The construction hoarding invites passersby to view the construction site’s progress through viewing windows.
