Deployment of construction site display panels “Draw me my city”
As part of the “Draw Me My City” project, Amiens Métropole is about to undergo new urban transformations. To inform residents of these changes, the city is launching a construction site information campaign in close collaboration with their communication agency and Celize.
Construction site communication
Public spaces and modes of transportation will be fundamentally rethought for a dynamic and attractive city of tomorrow. A new bus network will be implemented. Therefore, the main traffic routes will be impacted. As part of this project, Celize supports the communication agency in designing urban display systems and their deployment.
The aim of the operation is to attract the attention of passersby to inform them about the construction site.
This involves:
- Reflecting on the design of the system to make it identifiable and impactful
- Studying the locations and orientation of the system to ensure visibility on main roads
Design of the display panel
The graphic identity of the “Draw Me My City” project is unique and dynamic. Celize has therefore adapted the design of its construction site display panels to align with the project’s identity.
The display panel thus becomes a visual landmark that captures the interest of users.
Installation and deployment
The main target of the display panels are motorists. Celize focused its flow study on the major traffic routes of the city. To be effective, the installation of around ten panels was completed in one day.
