A “green” hoarding that sparks curiosity

“Take life from a natural perspective”—this perfectly describes the Méridien program currently being developed in the municipality of Schiltigheim. The communication agency 1VARIABLE, on behalf of Topaze Promotion and the real estate firm Joël Ohayon, sought Celize’s expertise to highlight this project through its know-how in construction site communication.

Residences near and far from the city

Located along the banks of the Rhin-Rhône Canal, Méridien Schiltigheim offers both a high-quality environment and proximity to the new business district of Wacken in Strasbourg. It is also well-served by public transport networks and has immediate access to the motorway.

Everything has been designed with one perspective in mind: balancing professional activity and personal life. In this context, alongside the two buildings with 148 apartments, more than half of the land is dedicated to an internal park planted with trees. It was this exceptional setting that 1VARIABLE wanted to highlight through the hoarding created by Celize.

Vegetal and interactive display

To particularly emphasize the “green” originality of the project, a wooden hoarding was chosen. To enhance the landscaping effect, it is adorned with strips of synthetic foliage (Thuja leaves) 100 cm wide. It extends the visuals which, through the rounded shape of the support, offer a sense of depth.

Openings (oculi) have been thoughtfully designed in the center: one at adult height in the D of “MÉRIDIEN” and two child-sized openings in the p’s of the word “apartment”. As if looking through glasses, the principle is to reveal two additional views of the project focused on the quality and softness of the living environment. Passersby are thus encouraged to interact with the hoarding.

Construction site communication is thus softened, and any potential nuisances related to the work are perceived differently. This original display is consistent with the sustainable development principles of the two real estate programs concerned. The presence of vegetation catches the eye and enhances the impact of the external signage.

A controlled result

The Celize team worked meticulously on the graphical rendering of this wooden display support. They harmoniously integrated the architectural projections, informative elements related to the project, and its environmental dimension. Technical and creative design came together, culminating in the very specific highlighting of the project’s logo, which is outlined and extends beyond the hoarding.

Printed on UV-resistant dibond, the visuals offer a realistic view and their shape aligns with the graphic identity associated with the real estate program. The installation and fixation of the hoarding are also under Celize’s responsibility, whose expertise in external communication is now well-recognized.

Are you looking for a direct and original way to communicate in an urban area? Think of external signage. Think of façade and construction site dressing. Think of outdoor exhibition supports. Think of Celize.

Graphic projections allowed the developer to visualize in advance the planned assemblies, possible blade arrangements (vertical or diagonal), and to choose boxwood as the type of foliage. For optimal safety and stability, the support’s frame rests on low-carbon concrete blocks.

With Celize, you systematically benefit from a personalized study and a turnkey service (from design to execution). The guarantee of a project with complete peace of mind!
