Nominated for the marking and decor award – design of a temporary entrance

With 6,400,000 visitors per year, the Dijon shopping center, La Toison d’Or, aims to become the reference center for the Bourgogne region. The center is currently undergoing a renovation and expansion project. Accessibility is also being redesigned with a tram station located 10 minutes from the city center and an extension of the parking lot.

With this project, La Toison d’Or aspires to be the new 4-star shopping destination in Bourgogne.

With the intention of offering a high-end welcome, the shopping center turned to Celize to design a new temporary entrance during the construction period. This also includes the installation of signage to guide users coming from the tram station and bus stops.

Offering a high-end welcome

The center’s message is “Shopping continues!” In other words, the renovation work should not disrupt visitors or change their habits.

Celize was responsible for designing a sheltered wooden walkway with communication panels, as well as scenic lighting and floral decoration.

The temporary entrance was designed to reflect the center’s modernity and refinement. Special attention was given to its aesthetics, floral decoration, and scenic lighting. The communication panels of the structure and signage had the primary function of guiding visitors and informing them about the future of the center.

Integrated construction communication

This urban dressing designed by Celize is part of the overall construction communication plan of the center. It includes digital communication (website, social media) as well as actions taken inside to ensure quality reception and closeness with visitors.
